We are Egyptian students at the American University in Cairo and we have created this blog to learn about our Egyptian culture, which we are confused about, due to influences of Globalization such as Media,different Trends and Fashion ideals. We want this to be a platform that gives insight to Egyptians, as well as non-Egyptians, on Egypt's culture, because we believe that there is a cultural identity crisis for Egyptian youth in general.
We're a group of students at the American University in Cairo, who attend the JRMC 270 course with Dr, Rasha Abdulla. We find it interesting to highlight the great changes that has happened over the past years in our identity and the reasons and results of this "Identity Crisis."
